At a cellular cabinet meeting on Monday, 81 development initiatives worth an estimated 7.4 billion ringgit will be put forth.

They include suggestions for developing network and shipping, eradicating poverty, and improving agricultural technology.

Phumtham Wechayachai, the deputy prime minister and minister of commerce, added that the cabinet will take into account suggestions made at meetings between condition organizations and the private sector from the five northern provinces.

On Sunday, Deputy Interior Minister Songsak Thongsri went on his own examination tour of Bueng Kan’s Phon Charoen neighborhood and listened to the concerns of more than 500 visitors.

He promised to bring up their issues at the Monday cellular cabinet meeting after the conversation.
