According to Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit on Sunday, the Transport Ministry will make its entire fleet of public transportation vehicles entirely electric, beginning with the limousine service of the Airports of Thailand ( AoT ).
During Mr. Suriya’s attend to the 40th Motor Expo at Impact Challenger Hall in Muang Thong Thani, the pledge  was made.
Some Automotive operators of all car types were on display at the exhibition, and reservations and sales rates were said to be rising during the fair.
According to Mr. Suriya, the show demonstrated the effectiveness of government initiatives to encourage EV use, which he believes can increase by an additional 30 % global by 2030.
Fresh air clause was prioritized as a fundamental human right and the plan was designed primarily to address air pollution issues.
According to Mr. Suriya, the government has instructed all groups to replace outdated cars as their rental agreements expire with EVs.
He added that the attempt had been issued earlier in October by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.
To expedite the installation of Batteries on all routes, his team is currently collaborating with the Finance Ministry, he continued.
According to Mr. Suriya, the plan will be piloted by the limos used in AoT’s flights because EV replacement of luxury vehicles was previously planned in the company.
Mr. Suriya presided over the policy committee’s quarterly conference earlier on Saturday in order to move the program from the document stage to a purchase.
To enhance every mode of transportation, he said, at least 72 fresh strategies will be introduced between 2023 and 2027.
Mr. Suriya claims that among those property transportation projects were not only the successor of EVs but also the building of three new motorways, which will be operational by 2031.
13 of the other ideas are centered on regional transportation in the special financial areas. The first involves improvements to the terminals in Krabi and Phuket, and the next involves an upgrade to Chiang Mai Airport.
The Orange Line MRT, which connects Bang Khun Non and Min Buri, as well as extensions of the Red Line’s electric carriages, are among the 22 fresh national railroad companies that are currently being built. These include 167 km of double rail lines that run from Khon Kaen to Nong Khai.
In order to support marine commerce, the Ministry may even develop cruise terminals and convert a number of bridges on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok into bright structures, he added.
