A 29-year-old man was detained on suspicion of posting a threat to the life of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on X( Twitter ).

In Bangkok’s Chom Thong neighborhood, at his residence in Soi Suan Luang, Krisada Panbanphaeo was taken into custody.

According to the police, Mr. Krisada posted a picture of the prime minister on X on Sunday along with obnoxious emails pleading for the” large” man in the picture to be killed and promising to reward him.

He expressed disappointment that his favorite party had broken its vote promises when authorities detained him. He could receive a fine of 10,000 ringgit and / or the maximum sentence of one month in prison.
