Six riders connected to the Saraburi-based smuggling crew were detained.

Authorities announced on Saturday that six drug couriers had been detained in Chiang Saen, a city of Chiange Rai, and had 7 million rate pills taken from their pickup truck.
The arrests occurred after narcotics reduction police discovered that a trafficking gang from Saraburi province’s Phra Phutthabat area was planning to bring significant amounts of drugs from the Thai-Myanmar boundary in Chiang Rai.
The police discovered a pickup truck on Friday that they thought was transporting medications along the Chiang Saen-Chiang Rai path. They followed the car to a rented home in San Makhed town, which is located in Chiang Saen’s border region.
Inside the home, three and three ladies were discovered. Two guns were taken away from them.
35 fertilizer sacks, totaling approximately 7 million rate pills, were discovered in the cartridge after a search.
The six defendants were only identified by authorities as Arthit, 39, Chakkraphan, 27, Supamas, 25, Kaweewan, 26, and Pratthana, 24, all of Saraburi’s Phra Phutthabat city, and Nakharit, 40, both of Sa Kaeo state.
The suspects reportedly revealed to the arresting officers during doubting that they had rented the home to store drugs until they were delivered to retailers in the nation’s interior. The defendants acknowledged having formerly made three sales.
They are being detained by the police for the purpose of more constitutional activity.
