KHON KAEN: A herd of wild elephants from the neighboring Loei province raided two tambons in the Si Chomphu area of this northern province, prompting regional residents to seek assistance. The elephant wrecked disaster and destroyed crops while foraging for food.

On the” Khon Kaen Community” Facebook page, pictures of five exotic animals having fun in a pond in Si Chomphu have been shared, along with information about the harm these hippos have done.

The report claims that on October 28, wild elephants descended from a rock in Loei’s Phu Kradung area. They invaded crops in the tambons Boribun and Dong Lan, destroying the locals’ homes, plants, and home as well as plants.

Boonpeng Thongthiam, 54, the kamnan of tambon Boribun, claimed that people attempted to use fireworks to hunt the animals apart but were fruitless. He continued,” The elephants left for a while, but they kept coming back.”

Si Chomphu operational representatives showed up after Mr. Boonpeng requested assistance. They made an effort to force the elephant back into the forest, but they were unsuccessful. Two officers suffered minor injuries in the process.

Locals hoped that forest officials would decide the best course of action regarding the elephants after they agreed to attend on Friday, according to Mr. Boonpeng.

The fight between locals and wild creatures has gotten worse, according to a network of people who were threatened by wild animals last month and complained to the House of Representatives. It claimed that both people and wild elephants have suffered many fatalities and injuries as a result of this issue.
