Woman caught on video arguing with police in hospital charged with moonlighting as hostess

SINGAPORE: A person who posted videos andnbsp showing her arguing with a doctor police officer has been charged with two new offenses.

Han Feizi, a Chinese nation who has been on remand for about two months, was given the two charges under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act on Tuesday, October 24.

The 29-year-old is accused of fraudulently stating in her work permit application that she intended to work as a secretary for KDL Elements when she had no purpose of doing so.

Instead, according to cost sheets, she worked as a freelance hostess from August 1 to October 11, 2023, moonlighting at different locations.

On October 13, Han was initially charged with six offenses, including harassment, common nuisance, assaulting a security officer, and using derogatory language toward employees or employees of the public service.

Han allegedly went to Singapore General Hospital to get treatment for a foot injuries, and that is how the event happened.

She claimed in her video posted on the Chinese social media site Douyin that after being struck by a vehicles, she had waited for three days at the emergency room without being seen by an ambulance.

She added that she was turned down for care because she wasn’t a member of Singapore.

The doctor disputed her assertions.

She reportedly argued with the police when they showed up, took a picture of the adult police officer, and posted it on Douyin.

NEW Claims

Han doesn’t have a solicitor. She appeared in court from her position of trial, looking young and sporting big, black-rimmed glasses.

She said she still plans to enter a guilty plea to both her old and new claims in her numerous responses to the Mandarin representative.

The judge informed her that bond had already been offered at the prior charging when she inquired about the time she was blog loan.

She claimed that her fingerprints had been taken in order to obtain loan, but she was eventually denied bail and was unsure of the reason.

She responded that she understood when the judge informed her that the proposed trustee had likely been turned down by the loan center.

” Your honor, may I ask to make an international call to my hometown because I have credit card debts and my mortgage is past due.” Through the speaker, Han said,” If I don’t make transaction, I might run into problems.

She was informed that she could simply make nearby names but could still send a message to someone to make the necessary preparations.

Han continued by saying that despite having been in Singapore for more than a quarter, she had no friends or family there.

When questioned about the possible trustee she had called, she admitted that she couldn’t recall their phone number.

On Wednesday, Han is scheduled to enter a criminal plea.
