Education: According to Pol Gen Permpoon Chidchob, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn did preside over an international convention on mathematics and science education in Bangkok from October 30 to November 1.

HEALTHCARE: In a pilot program to improve service delivery, participants in the Universal Healthcare ( UC ) program in four chosen provinces will soon be able to receive medical care at any hospital.
The UC people in Phrae, Saraburi, Roi Et, and Narathiwat may visit any doctor for health solutions when the program launches, according to Public Health Minister Cholnan Srikaew.
The Public Health Ministry oversees the hospitals, he added, adding that the government anticipates setting a deadline for the official first next month.
The public health systems in these four regions, according to Dr. Cholnan, are prepared to improve the health delivery solutions.

Mother worries about a missing girl
