100 suspects arrested in islandwide raid, drugs worth S$470,000 seized

SINGAPORE: Drugs worth S$470, 000 were seized in the five-day drug bust that saw one hundred suspects arrested, said the  Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) in a news release on Saturday (Jul 23).

The haul comprised 194g of heroin, 657g associated with Ice, 9, 339g of cannabis, 104g of ketamine, 7g of New Psychoactive Materials (NPS), 236g associated with Ecstasy tablets, 1 Erimin-5 tablet, a single LSD (lysergic acidity diethylamide) stamp and six bottles of liquid suspected in order to contain GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate).

The areas covered in the islandwide operation,   which took place from Monday to Friday, included Boon Lay, Changi, Sengkang and Toa Payoh.

In one of the cases, CNB officers raided a residential device in Sumang Walk and arrested a 56-year-old Singaporean guy for suspected medication trafficking offences.

About 66g of heroin and 16g of Snow were seized, together with various drug things and more than S$4, 300 in money.
