A knife attack at a common school on Friday has prompted the Thai embassy in Paris to warn Thai citizens in France to stay away from crowded locations and tourist attractions.

On Saturday, the ministry’s website had the notice posted.

The French state has intensified the federal threat alert to its highest level, according to the ministry’s post, in light of the knife attack that occurred on Friday at a public institution in Arras, northern France.

After receiving a warning that the regions might have been targeted for bombings, the French government on Saturday ordered an emergency evacuation of people from the Louvre Museum, Palace of Versailles, and other significant tourist destinations.

Thai citizens of France may check the opening times and travel routes of several significant locations, according to the embassy, and stay away from crowded areas and tourist attractions during this time. Additionally, they may keep a close eye on the situation and strictly adhere to the directives given by the European government.

People may contact the Thai consulate in an emergency at 33 6 03 59 97 05 and 33 6 46 71 96 94.

A professor was killed and several others were hurt in the attack, which was allegedly carried out by a former pupil suspected of radicalizing Islam.
