North Korea has sent arms to Russia for use in Ukraine: White House

WASHINGTON: The White House announced on Friday, October 13, that North Korea had recently delivered more than 1,000 vessels of military supplies and munitions to Russia for use in Ukraine.

The statement was made a fortnight after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited the far east of Russia to meet with President Vladimir Putin, raising worries among Kyiv’s friends about the likelihood of an arms agreement.

Using North Korea’s formal name, White House national surveillance spokesman John Kirby said to writers,” We condemn the DPRK for giving Russia this military products, which will be used to attack Russian cities, shoot Ukrainian civilians, and further the illicit battle.”

” We did keep an eye out for any new DPRK arms supplies to Russia.”

” Pyongyang is seeking military aid from Russia, including fighter aircraft, surface-to-air weapons, armoured vehicles, ballistic missile manufacturing equipment or other substances and other sophisticated technologies ,” Kirby stated in exchange for its support.

He continued,” The regional stability and the global non-proliferation regime are undermined by the expanding military partnership between the DPRK and Russia, which includes any technology transfers from Russia to the CPRk.”

A pile of tanks was transported by water from Najin, North Korea, to Dunay, Russia, between September 1 and October 1, according to a image provided by the White House.

Finally, about 290 kilometers from the Polish border, they were transported by rail to an ammunition depot close to Tikhoretsk in southwest Russia.
