Husband on trial for sexually assaulting his wife

SINGAPORE: After talking about their relationship in the master bedroom, a man is facing charges of sexual assault on his wife.

The 37-year-old Taiwanese person is asking his mother-in-law to instruct her daughter to drop the allegation against him in order to contest two counts of sexual abuse by penetration and one count of obstructing justice.

The person wed his partner, who is now 38, in 2012, according to court records. Collectively, they have two kids.

To protect the identity of the alleged victim, the labels of all functions may be made public.

Before being admitted to the Institute of Mental Health in August 2019, the gentleman resided with his wife, kids, and parents-in-law.

He left the family apartment after being released and moved in with his sister’s home.

On Tuesday, October 10, his sister testified that she had asked for this because she believed her brother’s wife was giving him pot.

According to the trial, the man made the decision to return to his apartment on July 12, 2020, without telling his wife.

The girl did not like her father to re-move inside with her, according to the defendant’s case.

The person finally agreed to let her father stay the night after several family members made an effort to mediate the conflict.

According to prosecutors, the man started a conversation about their relationship with his wife on the evening of July 13, 2020.

The entrance to the king bedroom was allegedly closed as they talked about the situation.

The man instantly pulled his wife’s clothes down during the conversation and sexually assaulted her before grabbing her and kissing her cheeks. & nbsp,

According to the trial, the woman did not approve of these sex acts.

They claimed that when the accused’s 11-year-old brother knocked on the door to play games on his mother-phone, he was cut off.

The gentleman returned to the base and allegedly sexually assaulted his family once more after giving the child the phone.

After their nine-year-old child knocked on the door to ask for some hair blood, the person eventually managed to run into the master bathroom toilet while her husband was passing it to her.

The man called his sister sometime the following day and claimed that, in accordance with the prosecution’s case, he had” things wrong” to the target.

He allegedly confessed to his sister that he had made an effort to” force himself to produce like” with his family.

On the morning of July 14, 2020, his family filed a police report alleging she had been sexually assaulted.

When her father was taken into custody that day, he admitted to the authorities in a statement that his wife had never given her permission to engage in sexual activity.

After the person had been charged in court in October 2020, he attempted to call his wife’s family to discuss the accusation against him.

In October 2020, he reportedly called his mother-in-law four times to ask her to advise his family to drop the accusation.

His mother-in-law made a recording of the telephone calls and sent it to her daughter, who forwarded the information to the investigating agent.

The man allegedly stated in the phone calling to his mother-in-law that if his wife dropped her sexual assault accusation, he would agree to her private security order implementation against him.

He asserted that his attorney had told him his wife may drop the accusation.

He reportedly threatened to give her a fine if she was accused of withdrawing the incident and warned that their children might end up in foster care.

Additionally, the man allegedly stated that if his family did not refute the claim, news of the incident may be made about her, her kids, and the situation.

He reportedly added that there was a” solid chance” that he would be exonerated.

A specialist from the Institute of Mental Health evaluated the man. He had been in recovery before the alleged offenses, despite having a history of drug-induced psychosis and major depressive disorder with manic characteristics.

THE SISTER ELEMENTS

Mr. Vinit Chhabra, the boy’s attorney, questioned the accused woman about her knowledge of the wedding on Tuesday.

When questioned, the accused’s girlfriend admitted that she had moved on with her brother after he was released from IMH in 2019.

According to the girl, he spent on 11 months living with her and would spend the weekend there with his wife and kids.

She claimed that during this time, her brother would even take vacations with his wife and kids.

The accused’s girl claimed that after informing his physician that it was unsafe for him to remain at home with his wife, her brother decided to stay with her.

According to the girl, this was because he and his wife were using pot or hemp.

She claimed to be aware that in February 2020, her son’s woman became pregnant but miscarried.

Given how frequently they went away together, she thought her brother’s home was a happy one.

The girl responded,” I mean, like normal people, there are differences ,” when asked if they had any marital issues. It’s always like a thump dong match, I mean like, it’re like ordinary home, and I don’t see anything unusual about it, she said. Then there are times when they are up, other times they simply have arguments, but after that they come back again.

Were you aware that( my client ) was also sexually active with( his wife) during this 11-month period? questioned Mr. Chhabra.

The accused’s girlfriend claimed to be aware that her brother would visit his wife and return late at night.

He simply claims to have slept over, so I won’t be able to determine whether he is physical or not because of the accused’s girl.

She claimed to have heard that her friend’s father-in-law was not particularly pleased with him but was unsure of the reason.

The defense claims that this was due to the accused’s admission to his IMH physician in August 2019 that his family was giving him drugs.

The accused’s father-in-law was annoyed with him because he thought the accused had attempted to link his wife to drug use.

Test is still ongoing.
