Three people were detained differently in Yala and Bangkok on Tuesday evening for allegedly selling ammunition and firearms to a 14-year-old boy who went on the killing spree inside the Siam Paragon shopping center in Bangkok. Two international citizens were killed in the affair, and five others were injured.
At around 1am on Thursday, a team of researchers from the Provincial Police Region 9 detained two of the three suspects at their home in the tambon Sateng neighborhood of Yala’s Muang city.
Suwananhong Phramkhanajarn, 45, and Akkharawit Jaithong, 22, were wanted on Bangkok South Criminal Court arrest warrants for collaborating in the improper sale of weapons and ammunition. & nbsp,
209 vacant gun rounds, 33 metal components, two bank accounts, nine megazines, and other items were taken from the home. For inquiring, the two gentlemen were being transported to Bangkok.
The second believe, who was only given the name Piyabut, was detained in Bangkok.
The Metropolitan Police Bureau’s director, Pol Lt. Gen. Thiti Saengsawang, ordered Yannawa authorities to obtain information and seek court approval before issuing warrants for the three people who were involved in the illegal sale of weapons and ammunition.

According to the investigation, the three suspects reportedly sold the young boy who committed the shooting spree a vacant gun. The weapon was altered.

On Tuesday, pandemonium broke out at Siam Paragon on Rama 1 Road in the Pathum Wan neighborhood just before peak hours, with plenty fleeing as shots rang out. Two girls from China and Myanmar were the victims.
The teenager & nbsp was detained late on Tuesday, not long after the shooting spree.
According to Maj. Gen. Samran Nuanma, the suspect altered a blank-round-firing weapon so that it could fire live ammo.
The young man who is accused of murder and additional crimes has been transferred to a juvenile detention facility where he will be evaluated psychologically.
