SINGAPORE: In the most recent bidding process on Wednesday, October 4, Certificate of Entitlement( COE ) premiums for larger cars continued to break records.
Prices for bigger, more potent vehicles in Category B increased from South$ 140, 889 in the previous sweet to S$ 146, 002 ( US$ 106, 300 ).
Open category COEs, which can be used for any type of vehicle but are typically used primarily for large cars, first crossed the S$ 150, 000 price range before increasing to S$ 152, 000 & nbsp from S$ 144, 640.
Larger car Department charges in Category B and the Open Category peaked at S$ 140,000 on September 20.
Premiums for Category A vehicles— those with horsepower no higher than 130 bhp — closed at S$ 104 000, a decrease from the previous exercise’s record$ 65 000.
Submissions for commercial vehicles, such as products and cars, increased from S$ 83, 801 in the previous command exercise to S$ 85, 900, and nbsp.
In the previous exercise, motorcycle premiums closed at S$ 10, 856, up & nbsp.
There were 2, 795 full requests received, with a 2, 010 COE limit.
Since the Land Transport Authority( LTA ) announced it would reallocate an additional 300 Category A COEs for October, this is the first bidding process. & nbsp,
This represents a 24 % increase in the monthly Category A limit. Additionally, 150 COEs may be added to each of the two October selling exercises.
