After nearly a year of evading capture, the man was apprehended after stealing gold ornaments for more than one million baht from Pattaya’s gold shop before fleeing to South Korea.
Sunthorn Pinnak, 33, was detained in Taean-gun of Chungcheongnam-do territory, South Korea, on September 7. He was range 50 on a police list with an 80, 000 baht bounty on his head and was wanted for robbery under an Interpol Red Notice.
