China outlines plan to make Fujian a zone for cross-strait development with Taiwan

BEIJING: China revealed additional information, including financial market initiatives, on Tuesday( Sept 12 ) regarding its plan to make the province of southeast Fujian into a zone for integrated development with Taiwan.

In 2020, Beijing declared that it would assist Fujian in identifying a fresh route for Taiwanese and included development.

According to a speech jointly released by the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee and the State Council, Beijing may encourage Chinese businesses in the state to record on Chinese stock exchanges, according to state news agency Xinhua on Tuesday.

Beijing also stated that it will encourage the creation of an integration growth account and help creative methods of cross-strait capital cooperation, but it did not provide any additional information.

With Beijing stating that it aims to prevent Taiwan’s democracy, China has recently increased its military presence close to the politically governed Taiwan, which China claims as its own place. Taiwan vehemently disputes China’s claims to reign.

China has not stopped developing long-term economic and social plans for Taiwan, which it hopes will one day be” reunified” with China, even if it means using force.
