According to a policeman cause, Pol Col. Vachira Yaothaisong, the head of the Highway Police sub-division 2, killed himself on Monday at his home in the Lam Luk Ka neighborhood of Pathum Thani province.
At a dinner party last Wednesday at Praween Chankhlai’s home in tambon Takong in the Muang city of Nakhon Pathom, Pol Maj Siwakorn Saibua of Highway Police sub-division 2 was shot and killed. The policeman served as his immediate supervisor.
One of the 25 officers officials who also attended the group and are currently under investigation was Pol Col Vachira, 44. He passed away in a residence in the Pathum Thani neighborhood of Lam Luk Ka’s tambon Khu Khot.
It was not immediately clear why he committed murder. He was identified as the caller who instructed Pol Maj Siwakorn to visit Mr. Praween’s home, where he was afterwards killed by assailant Thananchai Manmak.
According to reports, Pol Maj Gen Jaroonkiat Pankaew, acting chief of the Highway Police Division, and Deputy National Police Chief politician Gen Torsak Sukvimol hurried to the house after learning of Col. Vachira’s passing. & nbsp,
After Pol Maj Siwakorn’s passing, it was rumored that the Col. Vachira sought care at Phramongkutklao Hospital for stress and depression.
He was the oldest child of a previous Cavalry Battalion 7 official who served at the military station of Phraya Pichai Daphak in the province of Uttaradit. He attended the Police Academy Class 55 and the Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School Class 39.
He started his officers job in the Si Rattana city of Si Sa Ket province in 2002 after graduating. He was transferred to the specific functions component of the Crime Suppression Division in 2024, where he had previously worked before joining the Highway Police Division. His most recent status was section 2 commander of the Highway Police.
