Attorneys for Heard filed a notice of appeal in Virginia on Thursday, informing the court they will intend to appeal the jury trial judgement and all the post-trial motions that failed to go in favor of the client in the civil case with ex-husband actor Johnny Depp.
The particular court document does not elaborate on Heard’s appellate argument yet her attorneys formerly indicated she prepared to appeal following a jury in 06 awarded $15 mil in damages in order to Depp and only $2 million to Heard in their respective defamation lawsuits.
Earlier this 30 days, a Virginia judge denied seven post-trial motions Heard submitted in an attempt to fight the jury verdict.
