Thirteen hurt in South Korea stabbing incident near Seoul: Police

SEOUL: On Thursday, August 3, a vehicle driven by the alleged attacker in the North Korean commuter town of Seongnam, close to the capital Seoul, stabbed nine people and injured four others, according to police.

According to police in a speech, one man has been arrested.

The assault happened close to Seohyeon place, which is 20 kilometers from Seoul and home to numerous riders as well as a sizable department store and other stores.

Twelve of the victims, according to the officers, were hospitalized.

The attack’s motivation was not immediately apparent.

The incident occurred just weeks after another unusual stabbing attack in Seoul, which resulted in the deaths of one man and the injuries of three people.
