Even after the microphone had been turned off, Tajuddin had been heard shouting.
Several Opposition MPs said his actions were inappropriate and disrespectful as the Intimate Harassment Bill had been debated.
Kasthuri Patto (PH-Batu Kawan) said Tajuddin hurled expletives once the mic was turned off.
“He just cussed in this House. He used bad phrases in the house. He insulted women MPs. A person let Pasir Salak walk away, ” the lady said.
Steven Sim (PH-Bukit Mertajam) asked Tajuddin in order to apologise and withdraw his remarks, including that his behavior runs against the soul of the Bill available.
Kasthuri mentioned the warning provided by Rashid was useless for lawmakers like Tajuddin.
“Let’s clear the air here Speaker. You offered a warning. He or she didn’t heed it. Like Bukit Mertajam (Steven Sim) mentioned, he should apologise and retract what he said.
“You allowed him to continue to monopolise the House, to control the home. He went on and wasting the time of the home and you did not act on it, ” the lady said while including there was no point of having rules in the event that action cannot be taken.
Kasthuri mentioned such lawmakers have always been let off the connect.
“We have to suffer here in this House. It is not about immunity, it is regarding decorum and language. The warning didn’t work, ” the lady added.
Hannah Yeoh (PH-Segambut) said it was pointless to speak about indecent language outdoors when the same was being done in the House.
“I heard Pasir Salak using the p-word which is indecent but no action had been taken, ” the lady said.
The lady questioned Rashid’s bending standard when this individual was quick to behave against Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis (Warisan-Kota Belud) by issuing her an one-day suspension system when she pressed for the matter of the Sulu Sultanate claim to be discussed upon Monday (July 18).
Wong Shu Qi (PH-Kluang) mentioned it would be a “black history” for the Aug House if action was not taken.
Rashid said the MPs could submit a written movement if they were not happy with his ruling, incorporating that he was focusing on the proceeding on the floor.
Rayer mentioned Rashid should not compare the matter with Isnaraissah as she had been trying to put forth the matter which included national security.
“Today, Pasir Salak made indecent plus sexist remarks which was uncalled for. He or she was provocative and repeated it a few times. However , I am sorry Speaker, you were not brave sufficient to eject him, ” he mentioned while demanding the reason on the double specifications.
