“The Middle” singer was simply 17 when the girl auditioned for “American Idol” in Aug 2007. Though Morris didn’t get past the particular audition round, the girl mom, Kellie, rescued her ticket — then found this years later.
“My mother found my American Idol audition ticket from 2007, inch Morris wrote on Instagram Monday, in addition to a photo of the ticket. “I didn’t ensure it is past the first round cattle call. ”
“She added, “I was not really into sports activities growing up, but this particular feels like the equivalent of your mom saving your own 10th place trophy. ”
The official “American Idol” Instagram account had taken notice, writing “And now our hopefuls are singing YOUR songs on the Ideal stage! ”
Morris also auditioned for joey for “The Voice” and “America’s Got Talent, ” after that went on to become one of the biggest names in country and pop music. She’s also won multiple Country Music Awards.
