Commercial operation begins along Yellow Line

The board of the Yellow Line’s owner, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand( MRTA ), has been given permission by the cabinet to provide discounts for daily passes, monthly tickets, and special occasions as well, such as Father Day or Mother Day, he said.

Travellers who switch to another MRTA-operated lines, such as the Pink Line rail and the proposed Brown Line MRT, may be given additional discounts.

According to DRT, all parties involved may be contacted to discuss deals for travellers who take the Airport Rail Link at Hua Mak place instead of the Yellow Line. & nbsp,

The MRTA has 45 days to pay the Eastern Bangkok Monorail( EBM ), a division of Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc that holds the concession to run the Yellow Line system, 2.5 billion baht for the system’s construction, with commercial operations starting on Monday. & nbsp,

For the next ten years, the MRTA may create a similar pay each month. & nbsp,

On the eleventh year of industrial operation, the EBM anticipates beginning to profit from the Yellow Line’s. In 2052, its grant may come to an end.

The EBM will have to split the line’s profits with the MRTA between 2032 and 2052.

However, the MRTA will assess the EBM’s range control in the first ten years. It may fine the business or lower its yearly payment to EBM.

According to a cause, the charges may be reviewed every two centuries.
