Road demonstrations not the solution to rising residing costs, says Johor sultan

The resistance Pakatan Harapan coalition also demanded the government to announce an extensive plan on managing the rising costs, incorporating that it would call for a mass mobilisation in order to voice the people’s anger.  

The Johor ruler said that road demonstrations will also negatively affect the economy, frighten investors away make the country further in its recovery through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Don’t go down this road … our own growth must be meticulously nurtured through fully developed dialogue, not presentations that risk community safety and national security, ” this individual said, according to the press office’s statement.
