Pheu Thai unveils Bangkok lineup

The Pheu Thai Party offers announced its initial 21 candidates who will run for seats in Bangkok at the coming general political election.

A lot more candidates would be called later for the funds, which now  provides 33 constituencies, Pheu Thai leader Cholnan Srikaew told reporters on Monday.

The applicants to run in Bangkok include Khattiya Sawasdiphol, the daugther associated with Maj Gen Khattiya, who was killed with a sniper at the beginning of the 2010 political rallies. and Wan Yubamrung. Ms Khattiya can stand in Chatuchak district and Mister Wan in Nong Kham district.

Dr Cholnan said the celebration would progressively unveil more candidates for your North, the Northeast, the Central Flatlands region and the South over the next two to three weeks.  

The naming of the candidates shows the main opposition party’s readiness to field capable individuals in the election and to assist the country, he stated.

Dr Cholnan said further notices would be made in due course, There were lots of people who wanted to run under the party’s banner and their particular merits were still being considered.

Pheu Thailänder was also waiting for the Election Commission in order to finalise the demarcation of constituency limitations for the polls, due by March next year at the latest.  

Then the official tenure of the present government finishes, although the opposition celebrations have called upon Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to step down early and pave the way for a click election.  

Party representatives stressed the importance of selecting poll candidates with regard to Bangkok, which is the country’s administrative center and politically substantial.

Pheu Thai hopes to construct on its success within the May 22 Bangkok city council polls, when it captured 19 out of 50 seats, the most votes across the capital’s constituencies.    

Last month, the party debuted the election candidates with regard to Si Sa Ket during a tour from the province.
