Foo Fighters set to honor Taylor Hawkins in second tribute show

The late Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins will be honored in an all-star tribute concert within Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The event will certainly mark the second display to honor Hawkins, the first was held at London’s Wembley Stadium earlier this particular month.

Hawkins died in March in Bogotá, Colombia at age 50, just hours before the Foo Fighters were started take the stage at a musical festival. The particular band subsequently canceled their remaining tour dates.

Hawkins’ 16-year-old boy , Shane became a member of his late father’s band on percussion for a stirring performance of “My Hero” at the show in London. He is slated take the stage again upon Tuesday, along with music artists from Queen, Rush, the Red Awesome Chili Peppers, Miley Cyrus, Travis Barker, Alanis Morissette, Red and more.

Money from the tribute displays will go to the Songs Support and MusiCares charities, both of which were chosen by the Hawkins family.

Taylor swift Hawkins joined Foo Fighters in 1997, first appearing with all the band on the visit supporting their sophomore album, “The Color and the Shape. ”
