Johor police looking for woman who ripped licence plate off another car near Tuas Second Link

SINGAPORE: Johor police are searching for a woman who cheated the licence dish from the front of the Toyota Alphard and threw it on the vehicle’s windshield close to Tuas Second Link Immigration and Pen Complex (CIQ).

A video of the incident was widely circulated on social media marketing on Saturday (Jul 9).

In the viral video, a lady can be seen using both of your hands to push towards a black car in slow-moving visitors, before ripping off the licence plate plus throwing it at the windshield.

A guy later gets away a Singapore-registered Kia car and runs towards the victim’s automobile, making offensive gestures.

In other areas of the video, the woman is visible in front of the car along with her phone, avoiding it from moving forward.

The occurrence occurred after the car owner of the Toyota Alphard grazed an Of car while moving into the right lane, stated Iskandar Puteri  district police chief Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Rahmat Ariffin in a Facebook submit early on Sunday.

A man and girl from the Kia vehicle then got off the vehicle, with the guy shouting and gesturing obscenities towards the victim, ACP Rahmat mentioned in a statement issued in Malay.

“The female believe ripped the car’s number plate plus threw it at the victim’s windshield, ” he added.

The victim has been returning to Singapore from residential development Woodland City in Johor, and was not wounded, said ACP Rahmat, adding that there had been minor damage to the particular victim’s car.            

He added that closed-circuit television (CCTV) recordings were from the victim’s vehicle dashcam. The case is being investigated for mischief.

“Road customers are advised to drive within a prudent and unhurried manner, especially on the Second Link’s CIQ roads, ” stated the statement.
