Thai anti-Covid nasal spray ready for commercial sale

A nose spray to prevent Covid-19 infection developed by Thai medical researchers will be readily available for commercial sale from Oct 1, Worawan Chaikamnerd, chief executive officer of Hibiocy Co plus Rojukiss International General public Company Ltd introduced on Monday.

Ms Worawan said it would be marketed under the brandname “VAILL CITITRAP Anti-Cov Sinus Spray”  and has been produced by Hibiocy Company, a subsidiary associated with Rojukiss International.

Developed by the team of physicians and researchers through the faculty of medicine, Chulalongkorn University, the particular spray is truly a Thai innovation meant for Thai people, the lady said.

The spray is made to coat the sinus cavities with HPMC to reduce the amount of the virus and prevent it through entering the body with the holes of the nasal area. It can be applied every single six hours, or three times a day.

VAILL COVITRAP Anti-Cov Nasal Aerosol will be available for commercial sale from April 1 .
