The country registered 764 new inpatients admitted to hospitals and 14 more Covid-19 related fatalities, the Ministry of Community Health reported upon Saturday.
This compared with 837 patients and 12 deaths reported upon Friday.
All new infections were local cases.
The 24-hour period saw 969 patients discharged through hospitals after recuperating.
Because the pandemic started in earlier 2020, there have been 4, 672, 910 Covid-19 cases, including two, 449, 475 instances this year, with four, 630, 365 finish recoveries to date.
The gathered death toll stood at 32, 617 since the beginning of the outbreak, including 10, 919 so far this year.
The highest quantity of Covid-related fatalities inside a 24-hour period was 312 recorded on Aug 13, 2021. The highest number of cases was 28, 379 on April 1, 2022.
