Bangkok: A gunman killed one person plus wounded two others in a shooting in a military facility within Bangkok on Wed (Sep 14), Thailänder police told AFP.
Mouthpiece national police spokesman Kissana Phathanacharoen mentioned a suspect had been detained after the occurrence at the Army Schooling Command Department, portion of a large complex of military buildings in the north of the funds.
Local mass media reported that the believe is a soldier, although the motives for the shooting were not immediately very clear.

In 2020, a soldier gunned down 29 people in a 17-hour rampage and wounded ratings more before he was shot dead by commandos in an incident that stunned Thailand.
That mass shooting was linked to a financial debt dispute between gunman Sergeant-Major Jakrapanth Thomma and a senior officer, and the military best brass were at pains to show the killer being a rogue soldier.
The military provides powerful influence in numerous aspects of life within Thailand from politics to business, and has intervened to catch power numerous moments over the decades, most recently in 2014.
