‘Great world leader’: PM Lee pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II after her death

SINGAPORE: Perfect Minister Lee Hsien Loong paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II following her passing away upon Thursday (Sep 8), saying that she will always be remembered fondly being a great world leader.

Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, California king Elizabeth II died peacefully at the girl home in Scotland on Thursday, older 96.  

In a Facebook publish, Mr Lee mentioned he was “deeply saddened” by the girl death, and sent his condolences with her son King Charles III, members of the royal family, Uk Prime Minister Liz Truss and the British people.

“Her contributions to the Uk, the Commonwealth, and indeed to the world is going to be recorded in history, and she will always be remembered fondly as a great globe leader, ” stated Mr Lee.  

The princess or queen left a significant indicate on Singapore’s background and its longstanding shut relations with the Uk, he added.
