South Korea to end pre-departure COVID-19 test requirement for international arrivals

SEOUL: South Korea may end the pre-departure COVID-19 test rule for travellers towards the country starting upon Saturday (Sep 3), Yonhap news agency reported on Wed.

South Korea lifted the majority of its pandemic-related limitations in May but offers maintained some of the most rigid border measures among major economies, requiring inbound travellers to present a negative coronavirus test result taken just before departure.

Everyday COVID-19 infections in the united states have been hovering about 100, 000 within recent weeks after reaching more than one hundred and eighty, 000 in mid-August.
