A woman who suffered serious burns from the fire which shattered out at Mountain B pub within Chon Buri’s Sattahip district died yesterday, becoming the 22nd victim to expire in the inferno.
Her death was announced by Ronnarong Kaewphet, an attorney for a number of the victims, who posted this news on his Facebook page.
The woman had been treated in Chon Buri Hospital, where she was a victim of her serious burn off injuries.
Earlier on Saturday, an engineer who suffered burns to 95% of his body died at Lerd Sin Hospital within Bangkok. He was the 21st fatality through the blaze.
The tragic open fire at the pub in Sattahip district, Chon Buri province, started in the early hours associated with Aug 5. Thirteen people died in the scene as they had been trapped inside the place.
Following the fire, authorities discovered the venue has been operating as a pub without a proper enable. It also transpired the venue had gone through extensive modifications which usually involved the use of highly-combustible materials, and that an urgent situation exit was obstructed off at the time of the particular fire.
Somyos Panprasong, fifty five, the owner of the pub, has been charged with recklessness causing fatalities and injuries, and opening and working an entertainment location without permission.
