Bangladesh: Cardiff man pleads for family’s death certificates

A Uk man is pleading for death accreditation for his father, brother and sister after they died through suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in Bangladesh.

Sadiqul Islam, 24, said his mother continued to be very unwell and needs his family’s death certificates to consider her home in order to Cardiff for therapy.

Samira Islam, 20, her father Rafiqul, 51, and brother Mahiqul, 16, died right after being found in a flat in the Sylhet area last month.

Mr Islam and his mother Husnara Begum also required hospital treatment.

A spokeswoman for your Foreign, Commonwealth plus Development Office (FCDO) said: “We are usually providing consular help a British loved ones following an occurrence in Bangladesh and are also in contact with the local authorities. ”
