KHON KAEN: Police are searching six drug trafficking suspects who chance and wounded the policeman while fleeing arrest in Khon Kaen on Wednesday.
Pol Maj Gen Nopakao Somanat, provincial law enforcement chief, said the particular men fled through the Charm Boutique Resort hotel on Kangsadan Road in Khon Kaen municipality that afternoon when law enforcement moved in to arrest them.
He said law enforcement encountered three of the suspects in the hotel lobby. One, recognized as Anon Onsakhon, fired shots before rushing out of the hotel. The particular 27-year-old is a native of Kranuan area. The six suspects fled in 2 vehicles.
One was a white-colored Toyota Fortuner. If a police car attempted to block its passing, a person in the vehicle fired off an attempt, hitting a law enforcement sergeant major in his leg.
The Toyota has been ditched three kms from the hotel. A delivery motorcyclist stated a man, police identified as Mr Anon, took his bike with gunpoint.
