Four hurt in pickup truck-school van crash

PHITSANULOK: Four college students were taken to hospital after their school van was hit by a pickup truck packed with santol fruit in Phrom Phiram district on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened in the Khao Namsud area in tambon Thap Yaichiang and had been reported about 7. 10am, police mentioned.

Crisis responders reported an overturned pickup truck plus damaged school vehicle in the road’s median strip.

Police said the pickup was having a load of santol to the market available for purchase. The driver said the tyre burst. This individual lost control great vehicle crashed in to the van, which was transporting about 20 college students to Yannares College.

Four students sustained injuries requiring them to arrive at Wat Bot hospital. The other students had minor injuries and were taken house by their parents.
