Police charge hair salon owner with killing couple

PATHUM THANI: Police from Pak Klong Rangsit station have got charged the owner of a hair salon with killing after he allegedly stabbed an unfulfilled customer and her husband to dying at the weekend.

Prasart Rangyai, 51, the owner of Pimmy Hair Salon at a That lotus superstore in tambon Bang Kadi of Muang district, switched himself into law enforcement about 11pm on Saturday after the man and woman had been murdered in the mall at about 3pm the same day.

According to police, this individual stabbed them once they refused to leave his shop plus threatened to drag into court him and document a complaint using the Lotus mall management.

Warisara Wimulrakchart, 41, had been fatally stabbed in the chest and the girl husband Weerapong Pumpruek in the neck, in front of their horrified 8-year-old daughter.

Both victims, who had been TV actors, each died at the scene, while the assailant fled on a motorcycle.

The couple’s eldest daughter, from ages 20, said that her mother earlier informed her that a hairdresser acquired cut her locks too short and in the wrong style.

Kwang, the 27-year-old hairdresser who reduce Warisara’s hair last Thursday, said the lady had already apologised to the woman, who have later had one more branch of the hair salon fix her locks.

The girl later returned with her husband and insisted on talking to the salon proprietor.

The slain woman’s father, Chuchart Wimulrakchart, 60, said his child returned to the beauty salon to talk to the owner after they had argued within the phone.

Security camera video footage showed the killer draw a blade from his pocket while talking using the couple. He stabbed each victim once.

Mr Prasart was charged with premeditated homicide and illegal ownership of a weapon in public.
