Mulan star Ming-Na Wen on how diversity is almost the norm

Ming-Na Wen is perhaps best known to be the voice associated with Disney’s 1998 animation Mulan, about a legendary Chinese warrior, but she’s also starred in the medical play ER and is now playing Fennec Shand in Star Wars’ The Book of Boba Fett. In an exclusive interview with BBC 100 Women she reflects upon why she considers Mulan is a feminist, her own experiences we were young as an Asian United states and of typecasting within Hollywood.
