KUALA LUMPUR: Masquerading as Immigration officers, two men robbed two foreign women, with one of the two men also raping among the women on Saturday (Aug 20).
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak stated in a statement upon Monday (Aug 22), said the event occurred as two Indonesian women were on their way to focus on Saturday.
“They were stopped by two men who else claimed to have been from the Immigration Division. The suspects told the two that they wanted to check their function permits and passports and ordered these to enter their vehicle.
“Both sufferers were brought to Serdang and while on the way, their jewelry was used. One of the victims, the complainant, was fallen off at the side of the street in Serdang whilst another was brought to a hotel within Balakong and raped by one of the potential foods, ” he stated.
He additional that a report to the incident was stuck by the second sufferer in Kajang.
Acting on intelligence gathered, a police group raided a house within Taman Seri Asahan here at 3am Mon.
Two men aged 40 and 35 were nabbed, and items such as the car and clothing used by the potential foods on the day of the thievery and rape had been seized.
Both suspects were found to be seasoned criminals based on their law enforcement records.
“The 40-year-old suspect acquired 18 prior unlawful and drug-related accidents, and was also needed for three drug-related cases.
“The some other suspect was discovered to have 13 previous criminal and drug-related offences, and one needed status in a medication case, ” he said.
