PM’s tenure review approaches

The opposition’s petition calling for a defined ruling on whenever Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha’s eight-year premiership need to end is likely to be forwarded towards the Constitutional Court for any review on Monday.

A primary minister is only not allowed to assume the caretaker role whenever he is instructed from the court against doing this, Mr Wissanu stated.

“In other cases just like a House dissolution, the top minister can assume the caretaker function, ” he stated. “Even if the court rules he has attained his term limit, he [may or may not assume the role]. ”

“[If not] the role will be assumed by Mouthpiece Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon, ” Mister Wissanu said.

Gen Prayut yesterday declined in order to comment on the dispute over his phrase limit.
