Chris Weitz, that directed the movie, discussed recently during a conversation on “The twilight series Effect with Ashley Greene and Melanie Howe” podcast that he and Swift had exactly the same agent at the time who else told him, “‘Taylor would like to be in this particular movie, not because of you, but she has a Twi-hard, ” referencing the hard primary fans of the franchise.
Weitz said he has been told the vocalist was willing to become “someone at the cafeteria, or the diner or whatever. She simply wants to be in this movie. ”
But the director rejected the idea of getting such a big superstar in the film.
“The toughest thing for me was to be like, the moment that Taylor Swift such as walks onto the screen like for about five minutes, nobody will likely be able to process everything, ” Weitz mentioned. “I kick personally for it too, because I was like, wow, I could’ve been hanging out with Taylor Swift. inch
“She must have already been like, ‘Who is jerk?, ‘” he added. “But sometimes you make choices thinking this is for the very best of the film. ”
