The Royal Thai Military has received its latest batch of 10 US-made Stryker armoured infantry service providers which arrived lately at Laem Chabang port in Chon Buri.

The vehicles, purchased from the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, are worth about 900 million baht. The particular RTA now has 130 of the products. The army purchased Stryker carriers within three batches associated with 70, 50 and 10 units in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 fiscal many years respectively. The total plan for the vehicles is all about 9. 1 billion baht.

The procurement furthermore includes spare parts, tools and test devices, along with training plus maintenance support.

The 10 vehicles were taken to the Ordnance Division in Saraburi over the weekend for inspection just before being delivered to the 11th Infantry Department in Chachoengsao state.
