Singapore reports first local linked case of monkeypox; total of 15 infections confirmed since June

SINGAPORE: Singapore on Fri (Aug 5) documented two new situations of monkeypox, which includes its first nearby linked case — a contact of the man whose infection was confirmed earlier immediately .  

The 54-year-old man had simply no recent travel background,   said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in an  update on its  website .
