Law enforcement agents became a member of hands with specialists from 21 additional nations this week to discuss combatting drug trafficking in the region, including the part of precursor chemicals in the production of illegal substances.
Wichai Chaimongkol, secretary-general of the Narcotics Control Board, plus Pol Maj Style Wiwat Leelakhet, commander of the Narcotic Cleverness, Narcotics Suppression Bureau, attended the Far East Regional Working Group Focusing on Workshop in Bali, Indonesia, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The class is part of the International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC), an event presided over by Mark P Scott, regional director of the Medication Enforcement Administration, underneath the US Department associated with Justice.
During the event, Mr Wichai said the IDEC has prepared the annual conference since 1983 regarding countries in the region to combat drug trafficking.
“The conference offers an opportunity for countries to contribute investigation data to lock down on precursor chemical substances, transnational crimes and money laundering, ” he said, referring to the distribution of legal agricultural, commercial and medicinal substances for illegal use.
