RBSS showcases talent, facilities on public open day

The Royal Bangkok Symphony School (RBSS) will tomorrow hold an open day and is inviting the public to come and see its team of teachers and students at work in their state-of-the-art studios.

The school is on the 2nd floor, Kian Gwan Building, 3, Witthayu Rd.

The school said it will hold a mini-concert, teaching demonstrations, and other activities.

It said the RBSS has been at the forefront of musical education in Thailand for the last 25 years.

How to play a wide variety of musical instruments is taught at the RBSS, and a 10% discount on all courses is available to anyone who attends the open day and wishes to enrol for lessons, it said.

Visitors can explore new instruments and take trial lessons.

Many past students have progressed into competitive music professions and are today among the most successful and respected musicians in Thailand, it says.

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra also has benefitted from fresh new generations of talented instrumentalists who have trained at the RBSS, it said.
