Fake goods seized from warehouse, Chinese arrested

After police discovered fake-branded makeup, food, and other products stored in an isolated inventory in the Muang region, two Foreign men were detained it.

Jiaxian Ouyang, 27, and Hang Zou, 19, were taken into custody on Sunday from a inventory in tambon Phanthai Norasing, according to Pol Maj Gen Thatsapoom Charupratya, the head of the Economic Crime Suppression Division.

Officers discovered 78, 223 cosmetics, food, and other things at the inventory that purportedly contained the names of luxury models.

The goods had been imported from China and kept in the inventory where Thai workers worked to pack them for international shipping. The items were accessible online. Both Chinese suspects reportedly made confessions to the crime.

According to estimates, 52 million ringgit could be lost as a result of the false goods. According to Pol Maj Gen Thatsapoom, police even seized 12 cellular phones and computers from the warehouse and would look for partners.

He warned that false cosmetics and food items frequently contained dangerous substances like steroids, hydroquinones, and arsenic.
