Hat Yai citizens have voiced concerns about a group of Indonesian tourists racing their cars with loud engines on busy streets at night.
On Friday nights, the initial incident was reported in Hat Yai City on the outbound part of Kanjanavanich Road, where witnesses claimed numerous automobiles were reportedly racing each other at great speeds.
People of the local tambon Kho Hong reported the same interruption the same day.
In front of the Green Way Market in the city on Saturday around 1am, local reporters witnessed six changed cars with Malay license plates driving side by side in two sets of three each. For another road users, the cars blocked all roads.
According to writers, the vehicles were seen constantly driving and revving their motors in the area, waking up local residents.
The drivers allegedly had arrived in Malaysia for a weekend trip to the southern border city.
In Songkhla, tourist police are reviewing security videos in an effort to prosecute the hotrodders and have urged the authorities to stop similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
