Through a joint venture with PT Astra International Tbk ( Astra ), Equinix, Inc. has opened its first International Business ExchangeTM ( IBX ) data center in Jakarta, Indonesia. The digital equipment provider said in a statement that the high-performance facility, known as JK1, provides access to more than 50 global and local system service providers and internet exchanges, creating a powerful ecosystem that would help Indonesia’s growing business.
