SheHacks evolves into national movement for women in tech
  • # Unlocking She campaign is launched in the 2025 edition, and UN Women partnership officially becomes official.
  • moves from a technical program to a nationwide drive for women in Indonesia’s modern economy.

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison ( Indosat ) has announced the transformation of its SheHacks initiative into a nationwide movement that promotes digital equality and promotes women’s empowerment in Indonesia’s technology sector.

SheHacks was first introduced as a technology-focused program five years ago, and the# Unlocking She campaign and SheHacks 2025 have made it a more inclusive movement. By giving girls greater access to opportunities and resources within the online environment, the initiative aims to close the gender gap between the two fields of technology and online entrepreneurs.

SheHacks is no longer really a program, according to Reski Damayanti, deputy legal officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. It is now a movements aimed at removing the barriers that prevent people from creating, dreaming, and leading. We want to create a more diverse and inclusive environment for women to innovate, empower one another, and influence real change through# Unlocking She and SheHacks 2025.

The filing of a Memorandum of Understanding with UN Women, which furthers Indosat’s commitment to creating an environment that supports children’s independence, is a significant growth this year. Strategic alliances with the Australia Indonesia Institute and nine other organizations are also a part of the initiative.
