LAHORE: According to officials, Pakistan’s air defense system shot over a dozen American drones immediately as one attacked a military target close to Lahore, injuring soldiers and causing damage to the northeast city.
It follows American missile and bombings and other strikes on Pakistani areas that, according to officials, killed 31 civilians and children a day earlier.
In the disputed Kashmir place, India evacuated thousands of people from villages close to the two countries ‘ militarized border.
Since April 22, when 26 people, mostly American Hindu visitors, were killed by gunmen  in India-controlled Kashmir, tensions have increased between the two nations. Islamabad has refuted the accusations that India supported Pakistan in carrying out the assault.

Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, a spokesman for Pakistan’s army, reported that over an Indian drone struck four soldiers and partially damaged a martial target close to Lahore, while the country’s air defense system intercepted and shot downward 12 American drones that had entered Muslim airspace at various locations. He declined to provide any additional information about the invasion.
He claimed that India has sent Israeli Harop robots to several places, including the two biggest cities of Karachi and Lahore, and that their dust is being collected.
” India will continue to pay dearly for this naked aggression,” he said,” India continues to be sent into Pakistan airport.”
He added that when dirt from fallen robots fell in a crowded place, one citizen was killed and another was hurt in southwestern Sindh province.
Chaudhry claimed that the “operation is ongoing, and the military is neutralizing them as we speak.”
American officials did not immediately comment on the incidents, and the occurrences could not be independently verified.
