SINGAPORE: An 88- yr- older man was on Thursday ( Jun 6 ) charged with murdering a 74- yr- older woman.
Ridawi Morsudin was handed one fee of killing Madam Aminah Abdul between 6.40pm on Jun 4 and 12.58am on Jun 5 in , a second- floor flat at Block 137, Petir Road.
He was sitting in a chair and appeared in court via video-link from his place of retention. He had grey and white locks.
The prosecutors requested that he be remanded for medical examination to “ascertain if he realizes the weight of the offence” and to find out if he had any actual mental illnesses that would lessen his guilt.
Around 1am on Wednesday, the officers claimed in a statement that they were called to a component along Petir Road in Bukit Panjang for assistance.
The woman was discovered still inside the building by officers, and paramedics immediately declared her dying.
Ridawi was arrested at the picture.
If convicted of murder, he may face the death penalty.
