607 new Covid inpatients, 14 more deaths

The country registered 607 new inpatients accepted to hospitals and 14 more Covid-19 related fatalities, the Ministry of Community Health reported upon Saturday.

This compared with 752 patients and nine deaths reported upon Friday.

All new infections were local cases.

The 24-hour period saw 745 patients discharged through hospitals after recuperating.

Because the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 4, 677, 697 Covid-19 cases, including two, 454, 262 instances this year, with four, 636, 908 complete recoveries to date.

The gathered death toll was at 32, 706 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 11, 008 so far this year.

The highest variety of Covid-related fatalities in a 24-hour period was 312 recorded on Aug 13, 2021. The highest number of cases had been 28, 379 on April 1, 2022.
